The initiatory journey into the Biker Witch path

Every summer and winter solstice, Rhiannon guides a small cohort of women from anywhere in the world through a virtual initiatory journey into the Biker Witch Path.

This is how to "join" the coven.

An initiatory journey is a guided path of transformation. Rather than simply learning new ideas, you integrate them by moving through a series of experiences that gradually reshape how you see, how you practice, and how you embody the work.

The initiatory journey into the Biker Witch path is a conscious choice to meet ourselves at the edge of transformation, allowing each experience to move through us and become part of who we are.

Much like preparing for a long ride on a motorcycle, we step into the unknown with trust in the road ahead.

Every cohort meets for 6 weeks, gathering virtually for 1.5–2 hours. Before each session, Biker Witches will read one or two chapters from Wheels of Witchcraft and be given a prompt, ritual, or activity to complete on their own. We then come together to discuss, reflect, and share what came up for us in the work.

Topics Include:

reclaiming the word witch

Ways of the Ancestors

Spirit relationship

The Roots of Motorcycle Culture

motorcycles as sacred companions

the great mother

the motherline

our role as daughters

The roads of initiation

belonging and becoming

being in right relationship

freedom and accountability

Rematriation

crafting your own practice

Cohorts are an opportunity to explore these topics together in a small group setting, operating much like a combination of a course, a book club, and a women’s circle. Women’s circles are an ancient practice of support through life’s major thresholds such as birth and death, where women serve as stewards of sacred rites and guide one another through transition. The goal of this cohort structure is to remember what it feels like to move through transformational experiences while being held in a circle of women who witness you as you evolve from one version of yourself into the next.

All topics are explored through a decolonial lens, with the intention of carving a spiritual path, a way of life, and an understanding of reality beyond the distortions of patriarchy. Additional themes may emerge organically within these explorations.

The Biker Witch path offers a comprehensive and fully functional foundational system of witchcraft, suitable for both beginners new to any form of the craft and advanced practitioners alike. By the end of the cohort, every Biker Witch will have crafted a foundational practice that weaves together ritualizing the ride, spirit communion, ancestor veneration, and alignment with the cycles of the moon.

Additional Details
Enrollment opens twice a year, once in the spring for a Summer Solstice cohort and once in the fall for a Winter Solstice cohort.

Purchasing Wheels of Witchcraft is a prerequisite for participating in a cohort, and participation in a cohort is prerequisite to joining a gathering. This ensures that when we gather in person, we are doing so after having moved through the full Biker Witch initiatory journey, arriving with a shared language, common experience, and a deeper capacity to truly connect with one another.

All participants are invited to a private online space to connect with others in their cohort. Following their initiatory experience, they're welcomed into the official Coven area, where a wider circle of fellow Biker Witches gathers to stay connected around upcoming offerings and in-person gatherings.

Within our cohorts, this journey is guided by our grimoire, Wheels of Witchcraft, which holds the teachings, practices, and framework we move through together along the Biker Witch path.

The Motherline Magic Moto Coven acknowledges that the city of New Orleans exists today as a colonial project, settled upon an Indigenous trade hub on the Mississippi River known for thousands of years as Bulbancha, a Choctaw term meaning “place of many tongues." Bulbancha is the ancestral homelands of the Atakapa, Caddo, Chitimacha, Choctaw, Houma, Natchez, and Tunica Nations. Native peoples have lived on this land since time immemorial, and the resilient presence of Indigenous Nations remains an inseparable part of the cultural fabric of this region. As a coven, we recognize that acknowledgment alone is not enough. Land Back is not a slogan but an ongoing responsibility that requires material action in support of Indigenous sovereignty. A portion of the profits from every copy of Wheels of Witchcraft is donated to Common Ground Relief, which, through the Grand Bayou Indian Village program, supports the Atakapa-Ishak/Chawasha tribal community in restoring their marshlands and preserving their cultural heritage through native grass plantings and climate resilience efforts.  Our presence on this land carries responsibility. This is one way we seek to honor that relationship with integrity.
